Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation studio that is famously known for creating award winning movies such as Spirited Away. This app was created to test fan knowledge and be a fun and relaxing game that people of all ages can enjoy.

Mood Boards & Style Inspiration
The first mood board shows my original app design, which was aimed towards children, but feedback led me to rework the style to appeal to all ages, inspired by Studio Ghibli’s broad audience. The second slide is the new mood board and the third is the style inspiration: neobrutalism. This style is bold and attention grabbing, well suited for games, while also relating back to the two dimensional stylization of characters within Ghibli movies.
